Did this once also, except it was my boot that melted to the pipe. Try getting the bike up to operating temp again...should loosen up the goop...then take a COTTON cloth (100% cotton, and not polyester, etc.) and see if you can wipe it off...might smear some, but keep trying. Might even have to keep the bike idling to keep the goop hot enough. Be careful not to burn yourself and make sure that the cloth is thick and won't burn through. Not sure what elso to tell ya.
